Babelsberg Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the surrounding parks and numerous lakes offer a variety of leisure activities. Shopping facilities for daily needs and small restaurants can be found around the nearby Griebnitzsee S-Bahn station. Daycare centres, primary schools and grammar schools are within walking distance. The international school (BBIS) in Kleinmachnow has a school bus service. Karl-Marx-Str. is one of the longest streets in Babelsberg and ends at Babelsberg Palace Park.
